The formation of new tissue and medical devices through the process known as 3D Printing is being heralded as a disruptive technology that will change how healthcare is provided to consumers.  Work in our laboratories utilizing 3D technology began in the mid 1990s.  Shown is an image of a printed “baby heart”  This is the right and left ventricle of a heart about the size of your little finger.
